About Brixalontyphrele

A practice dedicated to the thoughtful development of aesthetic taste and the cultivation of a refined visual sensibility — for everyone.

A Practice Built Around Seeing Differently

Brixalontyphrele was established with a core belief: that the capacity to perceive and create beauty is not an innate talent possessed by a fortunate few — it is a skill that can be developed by anyone who is curious and willing to look more carefully.

Based in Punchbowl, NSW, we work with clients across Sydney and throughout Australia, offering one-on-one consultations that are as personal and specific as the visual challenges each person faces.

Whether you are redesigning a living space, clarifying your personal style, refining a professional visual identity, or simply seeking greater confidence in your aesthetic choices, Brixalontyphrele offers a thoughtful, non-prescriptive framework for developing your own point of view.

Close Observation

We teach you to look before you judge — to see what is actually there.

Clear Language

Developing precise vocabulary for visual experience transforms vague impressions into actionable insight.

Personal Autonomy

Our goal is your confidence and independence — not dependence on our opinion.

Contextual Sensitivity

Good taste is always contextual. We help you read and respond to your specific environment.

Our Approach

Consultations at Brixalontyphrele are collaborative conversations, not lectures. We meet each client where they are and build from there — honouring your existing sensibilities while helping you expand and refine them.

Everything You Need to Know

Answers to the most common questions about aesthetic taste consultations with Brixalontyphrele.

An aesthetic taste consultation is a guided, one-on-one session focused on developing your ability to perceive, interpret, and make confident visual decisions. Sessions are tailored to your specific context — whether that is interior design, personal style, professional branding, or a broader desire to engage more meaningfully with the visual world. Consultations at Brixalontyphrele are conversational and collaborative, drawing on principles of colour, form, composition, and visual culture.
Not at all. Consultations are designed for people at all levels of visual literacy, from complete beginners to those with some creative background who want to develop further. We begin by understanding where you are currently, what you are drawn to, and what feels uncertain or unclear — and build from that starting point. No prior knowledge is required or assumed.
Initial consultations are typically 90 minutes, allowing sufficient time to establish context, explore your aesthetic starting point, and begin working through relevant principles. Follow-up sessions are generally 60 minutes. Session length can be adjusted based on your needs and preferences — please discuss this when you get in touch with Brixalontyphrele.
Both options are available. In-person consultations take place at our location at 33/32-38 Belmore Rd North, Punchbowl NSW 2196. Remote sessions are conducted via video call and work equally well for most consultation types, including space and interior discussions (using shared images and video walkthroughs), personal style, and visual identity work. If you are outside the Sydney area, online sessions provide full access to everything Brixalontyphrele offers.
This varies considerably depending on your goals and how deeply you wish to develop. Some clients find that two to three focused sessions provide the clarity and tools they need for a specific project. Others engage in ongoing consultation over several months, progressively deepening their aesthetic literacy across different areas. There is no minimum commitment — you are welcome to begin with a single session and decide from there.
There is no formal preparation required. If you have images, references, or examples of things you find appealing — or things you find confusing or off-putting — these can be very useful starting points for conversation. You might collect a few visual references from magazines, websites, or photographs that you are drawn to. Beyond that, simply come with your genuine reactions, questions, and a willingness to look closely.
Yes. Brixalontyphrele works with both individuals and small business owners or professionals who want to develop a more considered and coherent visual identity for their work. This can include reviewing and refining brand aesthetics, understanding how visual choices communicate to clients, or developing consistent visual standards across a business's presence. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.
Simply use the contact form on our contact page or reach out directly by phone or email. Include a brief description of what you are hoping to explore, and we will be in touch to discuss availability and arrange a time that suits you. There is no obligation after an initial inquiry.
